Nokia’s licensing of Immersion's VibeTonz technology in 2007 has finally given us all something to really look forward to. It’s a technology that, besides a superior touch experience, gives users the delights of haptic feedback systems (that produce rumbles and vibrations on handheld devices). This stretches our curiosity as to when will this technology actually be available with a Nokia phone, and which phone would this possibly be on. The answer is Nokia’s Ivalo that is set to come in with a whopping 32 GB of memory and a 3.5 inch display screen. There have also been some complaints about the discomfort that users have while using RIM’s BlackBerry phones. Now this can only act in favor of the new technology.
With all the good things that came our way with the N97, Nokia decided to add a little more to their line of touch screen phones. We can be assured that the VibeTonz technology won‘t create a stir in just the phones but also in the cellphone markets, world over.
